Absolutely beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. We thought the food was wonderful. We enjoyed walking around the immaculate grounds. Our room was nice and our view was top notch! We couldn't have asked for a better experience to celebrate our anniversary. I highly recommend the Omni Barton Creek! Two staff members that made such a difference during our stay was Sam and Jolene. The Omni is lucky to have such amazing staff like them that go up and above to make their guests feel so welcome. We are looking forward to our next stay.

I went for a spa day and it is very relaxing. The grounds are stunning. The people that work there are lovely. The food is very tasty and the service is on point. I do wish the restaurants offered more dessert selections. If you like resorts that cater to some small business conferences and a handful of restaurants and a bar this is the place. The decor is nicely done but it does feel very commercialized high end corporate resort. If you like boutique, which it seems I do. This is not the place for you.

This spot is nice, but largely depends on your needs. I imagine if you’re wealthy or here for golf, it’s a solid choice. We traveled as a family and won’t choose this location again. The food options were one of our issues. When trying to eat at Texas Spice for breakfast (as it’s the most affordable for a family) we were rerouted to Blind Salamander for brunch. There was no menu option and for just my husband and I to eat, it cost $85. As a result we needed to adjust our budget and make a plan to find breakfast elsewhere for the week since Texas spice remained closed. Multiple front desk employees were unaware of the closure. We were also confused by the Nopales/Tiki situation…menus didn’t align correctly on the site, an employee said they open “on demand” (?) based on how busy the area was, etc. Additionally, when ordering take out from Crenshaws we spoke to an employee who was super confused about the menu, didn’t know answered to questions etc. That’s fine— everybody starts somewhere. But after 25 minutes on the phone she told us we couldn’t order to go using the kids’ promotion. This isn’t specified on the “kids eat free” flyer. I do want to shout out a lead at the restaurant who called back, made it right, and even brought our food to us. They’re awesome. It was delicious in the end! Our other issue was the pools. The adults only pool ledge, where the chairs are were covered in worms, it was wild. It could not be missed so it seemed crazyto us that no one had cleaned it up. Same situation more or less with the kids pools. We were there in the morning and we’re shocked to have to clean out many cockroaches, wasps, Band-Aids, straws, etc. It just seems like for that level of a resort the pools need to be cleaned before opening. The kids were grossed out. If you’re visiting with a stroller, note that you’ll need to carry it up and down stairs. The room was fine; comfy beds and we appreciated the crib and empty fridge for the baby’s milk. Jake at the desk was lovely. Coffee shop baristas were also super kind. My husband loved the gym and used it daily. The bounce house was a great touch. We had a nice time overall, but largely due to heading into town for meals, etc. for everyone since resort options felt very limited.

I just started my 5 night stay. The first meal that I had at Crenshaw’s was a $30 chicken with macaroni/broccoli, & all of the food arrived cold/room temperature. It always a strange dynamic when a Hotel utilizes the amenities of the adjacent country club. I am allowed to use the fitness area but my kids are not allowed in the kids play area. Country club members clearly take priority over hotel guests - not ideal. On a positive note, the room is big & spacious. Not off to a great start, but if it improves then so will my rating. Updated review: increased my rating from 3 star to 4 star. - All of the restaurants are excellent with the exception of crenshaws. I gave it another try, & it was just as bad as before (wings did not taste good & fries didn’t either - how do you mess up fries?) - I don’t recommend this resort if you have to bring a stroller. Two or three stair staircases do not have ramps. - I recommend this place for families who have kids not in strollers. It has beautiful views, Great restaurants, and incredible golf course courses.

We Love this Omni. There’s so much to do. One of the pools is really cool as you can stand at the edge of the infinity side, look down, and watch the golfers play a hole. Excellent bar and grill service in the pools area. Very fun and cool atmosphere playing their putt putt golf. Walking trails. Large deck with incredible view. Great restaurants. Several bars. Excellent service. Very nice rooms. Valet. Indoor lap pool. Can’t go wrong here. Great job here Omni.

This resort is in a wonderful location in the hills near Austin City area. It gives you an option of four different courses to play from during your stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable to stay in. The amenities are plenty with pool and practice facilities within walking distance and don’t forget the spa. The food taste great, I recommend the filet mignon with their signature carrot. The staff are all very kind and more than accommodating. You will not be disappointed with the views from your room as seen in the photo here.
